The issue is especially relevant to New York City, home to a quarter-million veterans. Lawyers can play a tremendous role in assisting both veterans and their families. Representatives from private practice, the New York State Division of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans Assistance Project at the City Bar Justice Center, and the Veteran Advocacy Project at the Urban Justice Center will take part in this important and timely discussion co-sponsored by BLS Law Students for Veterans’ Rights.
