Law enforcement agencies in the Hudson Valley begin 2017 by cracking down on intoxicated and impaired driving. Officers in Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester counties made 16 arrests in just one weekend. Man Survives Serious Mt.Beacon Crash

On Friday, May 20th the vice president of a tech and operations company miraculously survived a serious crash while descending from a job site on Mt. Beacon. More Scams Sweeping the Hudson Valley

Two scams involving chimney sweeps and one involving Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., have been reported by multiple residents and businesses in the Hudson Valley region. Chimney cleaners are supposedly going door-to-door offering to clean their chimneys. Saugerties Man Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle on 9W

A Saugerties man was hit a car yesterday evening and died when he was walking across Route 9W. Patrick Poliseno, 67, was hit northbound by a vehicle driven by Peter Gage, 55. Truck Accident on Thruway Kills One

According to the Times Herald Record, an accident involving a tractor-trailer rig has killed one person and forced the closure of a section of the NYS Thruway.
