Workplace Injury More Common Than You Think

Many workers assume they are safe on the job, however some common workplace injuries, like traumatic brain injuries, actually occur quite frequently and to workers who have relatively ‘safe’ jobs.

According to the National Institute of Health the leading causes of fatal brain injuries include motor vehicle accidents, falls, and contact with objects. Each of the causes listed above could happen in virtually any workspace, from an office building to a hospital.

A safe workplace is so important.   Injuries to the head and central nervous system while at work result in medical expenses and lost wages of nearly $80,000. When a person suffers a head injury while at work, but it is caused by someone other than a co-worker, they may be able to hold the wrongdoer accountable.  Our neuro-law trial group has years of experience helping brain injury victims successfully seek compensation.
