Edward Lier, 20, of Wallkill was arraigned on Monday in Orange County Court on charges involving aggravated vehicular homicide in a crash that killed 15-year-old Alana Tadry. The crash occurred on November 19th on Route 32 in the Town of Newburgh. Lier was driving south at a high rate of speed passing other cars when he collided with an oncoming car. The indictment against him was unsealed Monday before Judge Robert Freehill. Bail is set at $35,000 cash or $100,000 bond. Lier will return to court on May 8th.
