Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan hosted an informational meeting Monday, June 8th for Normans Kill residents who were affected by the April 2015 landslide. According to residents the source of the landslide, a river which is located just outside of Albany, NY is still several feet too high.
Residents have been encouraged to sign up for the county’s reverse 911 system. Those who sign up will be notified by law enforcement officials in the event there is an emergency.
