Graco has recalled their Table2Table 6-in-1 Highchair line due to a potential fall hazard. According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, “the highchair’s rear legs can pivot out of position making the chair unstable and posing a fall hazard to a child in the highchair”.
To date there has been 38 reported instances of the rear leg pivoting out of position, and five reported injuries that resulted from the chair falling over with a child inside.
This type of defect is especially dangerous as fall down accidents are often associated with serious injuries, including traumatic brain injuries and broken bones. Consumers who purchased the Table2Table highchair should immediately stop using the product and contact Graco for a free repair kit.
