COURSE DESCRIPTION: There is a population of kinship caregivers (grandparents and other relatives) who are caring for other peoples’ children and need legal assistance but do not qualify for free legal services and cannot afford the normal price of representation. KINSHIP NAVIGATOR seeks to develop legal resources for these caregivers via pro bono projects, the private bar and individual attorneys with the goal of developing a cadre of attorneys who will provide them with discounted legal assistance.

*All attorneys are invited to attend the 2 free CLE credit session on July 24th. Attorneys who do not represent County and State organizations must agree to accept a pro bono or “low” bono case in the coming year from Kinship Navigator or a legal services organization.
