Early Saturday morning, on July 12, 2015, a Perinton woman crashed her car into a Henrietta hotel room. Two guests were asleep inside the room at the time of the incident.
According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle was attempting to park. Instead of pressing down on the brake, she hit the gas pedal, sending her car over a curb and into the hotel.
The couple asleep inside the hotel room was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
