ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Newly released 911 tapes indicate a table of doctors did nothing as a Vietnam veteran died in the Albuquerque Veterans Affairs Hospital cafeteria.
The Albuquerque Journal Friday reports two calls came in after veteran Jim Napolitano Garcia collapsed on June 30 in a building 500 yards from the emergency room. The hospital says its response to the man’s death remains under investigation.
