Cornwall Woman Facing Additional Charges in 2014 Hit-and-Run case

In 2014 a Cornwall, NY woman allegedly struck a 32 year old Newburgh man. The force of the impact sent the victim over a guardrail and into a creek below. 

The defendant has been awaiting trial since 2014. She’s been charged with an array of indictments including: second degree manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, and leaving the scene of a fatal vehicle crash. 

On Monday, February 01, 2016 a grand jury added an indictment: allegedly the driver was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The indictment adds three new felonies to the charges.
