Postal Work Recovers Full $100,000 Policy After Dog Bite

Mail carriers face many dangers in doing their job, including vicious dogs. While walking door to door delivering mail in the City of Newburgh, an unleashed pit bull attacked our client. The police who responded to the scene were well aware of this particular dog from previous incidents where the dog attached another mail carrier. The dog bit our clients arm so violently that it caused deep tendon damage, and she required surgery. The homeowner only had $100,000 of insurance, which was offered after we started the lawsuit.
