Less than a week ago a 56-year old man was walking down a Blooming Grove street when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
First responders transported the badly injured pedestrian to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Blooming Grove Police, with the assistance of New York State Troopers, later apprehended the driver. He was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident. For more information about hit and run accidents click here.
