October 1st marked the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout the month organizations from all over the country work together to increase awareness of the disease, heavily emphasizing the importance of early detection.
A Finkelstein and Partners team is gearing up for the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk on Sunday October 18th, at Woodbury Common in Monroe-Woodbury, NY. This will be the 6th year that the Finkelstein & Partners team will walk to raise awareness, raise funds and take part in the fight for the cure. Thanks in part to American Cancer Society supporters, breast cancer death rates have been declining since 1989. But there’s still more work to do – we can’t stop now.
Those who donate $20 or more will be entered in a drawing for a half hour private riding lesson at Falcon Ridge Equestrian Center in Walden, NY. 4 lessons will be given away in our drawing after the Making Strides. Winners will be notified on Monday, October 19th.
Come to Falcon Ridge Equestrian Center on 10/10/2015 to check out the riding arena at the Breast Cancer Awareness Gymkhana (horse games) Show. The Falcon Ridge Gymkhana team has joined our team in our fund raising efforts. Entry fees + $5 per entry from Falcon Ridge for the Pink Costume Class will be donated to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign!
