WAPPINGERS FALLS — The Castle Point campus of the Veterans Affairs Hudson Valley Health Care System has been flagged for further review and investigation over its scheduling procedures, according to a preliminary internal audit released Monday.
In mid-April, the secretary of Veterans Affairs directed the VA to complete a nationwide “access audit” after the Phoenix VA became embroiled in scandal over lengthy wait-times and accusations of cooking the books to hide the improper wait times.
