An Albany Man pled guilty to aggravated vehicular assault on May 13th after causing a serious crash in Colonie.
According to authorities, the 28 year old Albany man was speeding when he crashed into an oncoming truck. The man was traveling at approximately 85mph at the time of the crash. The truck driver and two others were seriously injured in the crash.
The DA later revealed the speeding driver was intoxicated and possibly under the influence of marijuana.
The Albany man has a record of driving drunk, including two prior alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years. He is now facing 5 to 10 years in State Prison.
