Veterans Needed:For Oil and Gas Career Training Jobs in Texas, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania New program for Veterans to take advantage of a grant that will provide them full tuition ($2800) for an accelerated training program (10 days) at Airstreams Renewables in Tehachapi, California. The certification class provides certifications needed to get hired by a oil and gas company; Safe Access and Rescue Climber, Electrical and Electrical Metering Safety, Torque and Tension, CPR and OSHA 10. Our wind turbine full tuition is still going strong as well with over 50 veterans trained in 2011. Starting pay is between $16 and $21 per hour. Basic requirements: Jobs are located in Texas, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. Mechanical experience a plus.
