Crash Hospitalizes Pine Bush Woman; Driver Faces DWI

A Pine Bush man was charged with driving while intoxicated on Monday in Bullville, Town of Crawford. His passenger is in critical condition as a result of the two-car accident on Route 302. Robert Mance, 46, was driving a 2004 Dodge Stratus when he rear-ended a 2008 Honda Odyssey driven by Barbara Rojas, 39, as she slowed to turn left near the intersection of Roberson Avenue. Rojas and her two young passengers, 3 and 10, were treated for minor injuries. Mance’s passenger, Kathleen Morgan-Pasquale, 43, was unresponsive at the scene of the crash and was flown to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie. Mance, who was not harmed, was also charged with vehicular assault, and aggregated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, felonies, among other charges. He was sent to Orange County Jail without bail.
