Andrew Finkelstein Welcomes the Legal Community to NYSTLA’s Law Day Gala at Cipriani Wall Street

Finkelstein & Partners is proud to share that Managing Partner Andrew Finkelstein, who also serves as President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA), recently welcomed hundreds of attorneys and legal professionals to NYSTLA’s annual Law Day Gala at the iconic Cipriani Wall Street.

The evening brought together members of New York’s legal community to celebrate leadership, excellence in advocacy, and a shared commitment to protecting the civil justice system and ensuring equal access to justice for all.

Honoring Leaders in Advocacy and Justice

This year’s gala recognized a distinguished group of honorees:

Together, the honorees reflected the values that have guided Finkelstein & Partners for more than 65 years: standing up for those who have been harmed, holding wrongdoers accountable, and keeping the courthouse doors open to everyone who needs them.

Leadership that Reflects Our Firm’s Mission

For Andrew Finkelstein, the roles of NYSTLA President and Managing Partner are deeply connected. Both are rooted in the same purpose: advancing the rights of injured individuals and promoting a legal system that is fair, transparent, and accessible.

His work leading NYSTLA is an extension of the commitment our firm has carried since 1959: advocating for people in need and strengthening the civil justice system throughout New York. Evenings like the Law Day Gala are a reminder that this work is bigger than any single case. It’s about protecting the right of every New Yorker to seek justice.

Supporting the broader community has always been part of who we are at Finkelstein & Partners. From our firm-wide volunteer program to the many local organizations our team members support, we believe advocacy extends well beyond the practice of law.
