While on the job, our client was stopped in traffic when the company van he was driving was hit in the rear by a box truck driver who was distracted. No police were called to the scene, but information was exchanged. As our 52-year-old client drove back to Rockland County, he started feeling shooting pain running down his legs. He knew something was wrong and he went to his family doctor. His doctor sent him for an MRI which showed a herniated disc. Ultimately, the pain was so intense surgery was required.
