After being hit in the rear, our client hired another lawyer who failed to take action or obtain any offers from the insurance company. After several months of frustration with her other attorney, she called our firm and we took over handling the case. We immediately started the lawsuit and pushed the case to the courthouse steps. The week before the case was scheduled for trial, the insurance company opened with an offer of only $125,000, which was rejected immediately.
