$2.2 Million Verdict Dog Attack Results in Serious Head Trauma

Our client was walking her leashed dogs in her Poughkeepsie neighborhood when they were attacked from behind by the defendant’s dog. As she was attacked she fell back and hit the back of her head. From that point on she had no memory as she sustained head trauma that caused difficulty concentrating, significant cognitive defects as well as vision problems. She was fully employed for 20+ years and is now disabled and unable to return to work as a result of the injury. Our investigative team was able to establish that the aggressive dog had engaged in similar behavior in the past and were successful in obtaining a $2,200,000 verdict on her behalf. The case was handled by attorneys David Gross and Chris Camastro.
