I handle a wide range of personal injury cases, including slip and fall, auto accidents, premises cases, construction injuries, animal attacks, school cases, products liability, and more.

I firmly believe in a client-centered approach. I involve clients throughout the process by explaining what’s happening and why, what to expect, and the risks and benefits of the courses of action available to them. Clients can expect my full attention and timely, comprehensive communication.

Motions and appeals present real challenges for clients. It’s often hard to understand how the applicable law and case precedent affect the likelihood of success. Part of my job is helping clients understand what’s happening in their case, why, and how we can craft arguments together that lead to a favorable outcome.

Over the years, I’ve been involved in many cases that resolved favorably after successful motion practice across all areas of personal injury law. A few stand out:

• A case involving exposure to toxic gas that required a highly technical and complex analysis;
• A case with unusual bankruptcy implications;
• A donkey attack (believe it or not!);
• More recently, I defeated summary judgment in a case involving a young girl injured in gym class, which led to a substantial settlement, and successfully resolved an auto case where the defense argued my client hadn’t met the serious injury threshold.

I chose personal injury law because I find real satisfaction in securing justice and fair compensation for people hurt by others’ carelessness and negligence. Holding them accountable has been my focus throughout my career.

Since joining the firm in 1993, I’ve been active in all phases of litigation, with a focus on complex motion and appellate practice. I’m also active in the firm’s efforts to preserve accident victims’ recoveries from insurance liens, and I teach continuing legal education classes on liens and their effects on personal injury cases, as well as basic motion practice and premises liability, for the firm’s CLE program and at Marist College’s Business Law and Legal Nurse programs.

When I’m not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym, and restoring old motorcycles.
