Construction accident

There are several ways for construction site injuries to occur, but certain types of accidents happen on a more frequent basis. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the government agency that supervises workplace safety, has named four general types of accidents that were responsible for over 60% of all construction worker deaths in 2014.

Technology for construction site injuries

A student at the University of Pennsylvania has developed a prototype of a devise that could greatly reduce the likelihood of construction site injuries.

The technology would monitor worksites, and if a safety issue was detected the technology would immediately notify workers via a mobile app.

Every year, construction workers are injured on the job all over the country. The severity and nature of these injuries are varied, however there are some casualties that are common to the construction site.
