When your child is in a pool, or in other large bodies of water, you’ve probably taken several steps to ensure their safety.
Did you know that your sink, toilet bowl, buckets of water, inflatable pools, and even some puddles contain enough water to drown a small child?
A young child can drown in just 2 inches of water. Simply being aware of this fact can help prevent a tragic drowning. Small children should be supervised near any amounts of water. Talk to your kids about water safety, and what to do if an emergency occurs.
