Detectives are investigating an accident involving a motor vehicle and a bicyclist that occurred in Woodstock, NY on Sunday, January 28, 2016. Police responded to the report just before 3pm on the corner of Zena Road and Chestnut Hill Road.
A 14 year old female bicyclist was turning onto Zena Road when the incident occurred. She was taken via helicopter to Albany Medical Center where she was treated for non life threatening injuries. The driver, a 24 year old male, was uninjured in the crash.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s office, Town of Woodstock Police, New York State Police, Woodstock Fire Department, and Woodstock Ambulance all responded to the scene of the accident.
The police are currently investigating the accident and have not issued any traffic tickets to either party.
