The NY Times has printed an article concerning deadlines that our nation’s veterans are met with when seeking service connected disability benefits. The article comes on the heels of Finkelstein & Partners’ submission of an amicus brief to the U. S. Supreme Court on the issue of equitable tolling and the unfairness that stringent filing deadlines impose upon many of our most deserving disabled veterans, who, by the very nature of their disability, are unable to appreciate and adhere to such deadlines.
